Royal Mansour Marrakesh

Royal Mansour Marrakesh is a polished, privacy-first base in Marrakesh: design in stone and timber, service that lands lightly, and days tuned to light, weather and appetite. Expect unhurried outings,...

Royal Mansour Marrakesh is one of Morocco’s most distinctive palace hotels. Instead of conventional bedrooms and suites, guests stay in 53 private riads arranged through a purpose-built medina within a five-hectare estate. Each riad occupies three floors, creating an unusually residential experience even at the entry level.

Moroccan craftsmanship is everywhere: zellige, carved plaster, timber, textiles, metalwork and bespoke furniture turn the property into a showcase for traditional skills. Behind the scenes, underground service galleries allow staff to move discreetly around the estate, preserving privacy within the riads and gardens.

Fifty-three private riads

The 53 riads range from one to four bedrooms. Each has a private patio and multiple levels, with rooftop terraces looking towards Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains. Private pools feature within the riad concept, while the larger categories become substantial residences suitable for families and groups.

This is fundamentally different from choosing a hotel room. Guests have a front door, internal living spaces and a sense of retreating to a private Moroccan house, while still accessing the services of a major palace hotel.

Four signature restaurants

Royal Mansour currently presents four signature restaurants spanning Moroccan, Italian, French and Asian influences. Dining is therefore broad enough to support a longer stay without repetition, while the hotel’s culinary ambition makes it a destination even for visitors staying elsewhere in Marrakech.

Private dining and the riad format add further flexibility for guests who prefer discretion or are travelling as a family.

Le Jardin and the 2,500 square metre spa

Le Jardin is a landscaped world of planting, fountains, sunbeds and private pavilions surrounding the outdoor pool. It provides a genuine resort element despite the hotel’s proximity to the old city.

The Royal Mansour Spa extends across approximately 2,500 square metres over three levels and includes hammam rituals, treatment spaces, a heated pool, gym, salon and the celebrated white atrium. This is a property where wellness can occupy a full day rather than being squeezed between sightseeing appointments.

Families and Marrakech

Le Jardin de Lila kids’ club is designed for children aged 4 to 10, introducing Moroccan culture through age-appropriate activities. Multi-bedroom riads make the hotel unusually practical for families who want high levels of privacy.

The medina and major sights remain close at hand, but the estate is sufficiently complete that guests can alternate intensive city exploration with entire days inside the hotel.
