The St. Regis Goa Resort occupies 49 acres of tropical grounds beside Mobor Beach and the River Sal in South Goa. Lagoons, palms and waterways give the resort a softer, greener character than many large beach hotels, while the St. Regis service model adds 24-hour butler assistance for guests across the property.
Accommodation
The resort has 160 rooms, 46 suites and 12 pool villas. Renovated rooms use Goan craft references, rattan, wicker and local art, with balconies looking over lagoons or gardens. The Manor enclave contains larger suites and villas, some with private pools and additional privileges, although parts of The Manor are undergoing renovation during 2026 and availability should be checked for specific travel dates.
Dining, wellness and time at the property
Six restaurants and bars cover a broad range of dining, from all-day international and Goan food at Miri to seafood, Pan-Asian menus and beachside options. There is a spa, pools, fitness facilities, golf and direct access to the beach. The evening champagne-sabrage ritual brings a recognisable St. Regis touch to sunset on the Arabian Sea.
Goa beyond the resort
Old Goa’s churches, Portuguese-influenced architecture, local markets and spice-growing hinterland are all accessible from the south. We can arrange a private day that avoids the most commercial stops and still leaves time back at Mobor Beach.
How it fits into a Private Hideaway Escapes itinerary
South Goa is slower and less urban than the north, which makes this a good place to decompress after touring India. We would generally suggest three to five nights, with optional excursions to Old Goa, spice plantations and local markets. The resort also works for families because of its space and facilities, while higher villa categories give couples or multi-generational groups a more private experience.
