L’Archipel retains the existing WordPress region title and refers to the Praslin setting associated with the collection. Praslin is the Seychelles’ second-largest inhabited island, characterised by forested granite hills, pale beaches and a relaxed scale that is easy to explore.
A sense of place
The Vallee de Mai provides an extraordinary inland contrast to the coast, preserving endemic palms including the coco de mer. On the water, private boats can reach neighbouring islands and snorkelling sites, while beaches such as Anse Lazio demonstrate why Praslin has such a strong international reputation.
How to spend your time
Praslin works particularly well for travellers who want more freedom to explore than a tiny private island allows. Restaurants, beaches and nature reserves can be combined with resort time without lengthy transfers.
For a wider journey
Several nights can stand alone, but Praslin also pairs beautifully with La Digue or a private-island stay. The contrast between granite landscape, forest and sea gives a Seychelles itinerary greater variety.
