Asilia Naboisho Camp

Asilia Naboisho Camp is a polished, privacy-first base in Masai Mara National Park: design in stone and timber, service that lands lightly, and days tuned to light, weather and appetite....

Private-conservancy safari in one of the Mara’s great wildlife areas

Asilia Naboisho Camp sits within the private Mara Naboisho Conservancy beside the Masai Mara National Reserve. The conservancy model combines exceptional resident wildlife with lower tourism density and activities that are not normally possible inside the national reserve, including night drives and guided walks.

The camp

Recently refurbished, Naboisho is a stylish nine-tent camp overlooking open plains where elephant and buffalo are regularly seen and lions are often heard after dark. The main area includes an open lounge, dining spaces and a swimming pool facing the conservancy.

Accommodation

There are nine spacious tents, including two family suites. Each has an en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor hot-water showers, a private veranda and views across the plains. Solar power, Wi-Fi and charging facilities provide modern practicality without overwhelming the safari setting.

Safari

Morning and evening game drives explore the conservancy’s plains and valleys, while night drives reveal nocturnal wildlife after other safari areas have closed. Guided walking safaris provide a slower, ground-level understanding of the landscape.

For adventurous guests, fly camping can be added to longer stays, while dedicated photographic vehicles can be arranged for serious photographers.

Families

Children aged five and over are welcomed, and the two family suites make Naboisho a practical option for parents who want a high-quality conservancy safari without sacrificing comfort.

Why we like it

Naboisho offers the breadth many travellers imagine when they think of a private safari: excellent game drives, walking, after-dark exploration and the option to sleep out, all from a polished but intimate camp.

Private Hideaway Escapes can combine Naboisho with other Kenyan conservancies, the coast or a private Nairobi stay.
